Shelf.human Privacy Policy

Shelf.human helps people save webpages, organize them into folders and shelves, and discuss what they read. This policy covers the Shelf.human website, iOS app, and browser extension.

Short version

We collect the information needed to run your account and sync saved reading.
Content you post in public discussion areas may be visible to other users.
We do not sell personal information or use third-party ad tracking.
You can delete your account in the iOS app or request access and correction at privacy@shelfdothuman.com.

Shelf.human has public areas

Some Shelf.human activity is meant to be shared, including public shelves, discussion posts, comments, display names, and timestamps. Do not post private information or content you do not have rights to use.

What we collect

We collect account details such as email address, display name, login/session data, and profile information you provide.

We also collect the content needed for the product to work: saved URLs, article metadata, readable copies or excerpts when available, folders, shelves, notes, comments, replies, reports, searches, and recently opened pieces.

For security and reliability, we may collect IP address, device/browser details, timestamps, product interactions, and diagnostic logs.

How we use information

We use information to provide saving, reading, sync, organization, search, discussion, moderation, support, security, and reliability features.

Your choices

You can choose what to save, post, or delete in Shelf.human. In the iOS app, go to Account and choose Delete account to permanently delete your account and personal data. You can also request a copy or correction of your account data by contacting us.

Children

Shelf.human is not directed to children under 13.
